What it costs, and after how many calls it pays for itself

What you get out of it
A subscription from €49 a month, with no hardware, no installation and no line to have fitted.
What you pay
A monthly subscription including an allowance of call minutes and texts. Beyond that, minutes and texts are charged as you use them. A phone number costs a few euros a month, unless you keep your own. There is no hardware to buy, no installation and no line to have fitted.
What you stop paying for
An answering service is often billed per call or per minute, and only works its own hours. A part-time person on the front desk costs several times a subscription, and can still only take one call at a time. Count, too, the hours you spend calling back people who already found someone else.
The break-even, in one sentence
Go back to the sum: the value of an average customer, multiplied by the calls you recover. In catering that is a few tables. In call-outs or building work, a single job often covers the year. Do it with your own figures, not with an average.
Common questions
- Do I need to buy hardware or change phones?
- No. Everything runs online: nothing to install, nothing to plug in, no engineer to call out.
- Do I keep my number?
- Yes, you can forward your current number to the agent. You can also take a new one — including a local number in another country — and keep yours for your regulars.
